Japanese Bishops Fail With Statement

Japanese Bishops Meet In Conference In April 2019, the Conference of Japanese Bishops released their long awaited statement as to how accusations against priests would be handled. In shocking anger it failed to assure faithful that the accused would face not only church punishments but in the spirit of justice being handed to secular police and thus justice system. Fairly so as abusing children, sexually harassing adults, and rape are illegal, not just as the bishops term, "moral failings". The Catholic Church in Japan promised language would be added assuring justice would be sought. Four years later such change is still elusive. Still, the accused are not named publicly, police are not informed, and the accuser is under strict silence through a legally binding nondisclosure agreement. Japanese Prime Minister - Fukushima Almost Destroyed Japan

This Friday, it will officially have been 5 years since the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami disabled Tepco’s nuclear power plant in Fukushima. But despite the passing of 5 years, we still don’t really know much damage this disaster really caused. We don’t know what the long-term effects will be on the environment, or on the people of Japan, and both Tepco and the Japanese government have lied to the world about the gravity of the situation. And the situation is still much more serious than they’ve been letting on. We know that plant is still leaking radiation, we know the ocean and the area surrounding Fukushima is still radioactive, and we know that the nuclear power plant is a flimsy house of cards that could crumble at any moment.
